About Me
Welcome! My name is Jessica, I'm a 22-year-old college student with a running tutoring business. I began my tutoring career while in High School, mostly out of the joy I found in helping my peers and siblings whenever they needed it. My passion for education blossomed and I expanded my subject portfolio throughout H.S..
I went on to study at George Washington University, but took a gap year right before the pandemic hit. While stuck in NYC for that additional year, I gained more experience helping students navigate through virtual learning and keeping them enriched. I then moved to Virginia where I expanded toward Homeschool instruction. With now 9 years of total experience, I have had the chance to help students of various skill levels from grades K-12.
Helping each student grow both knowledge and confidence is something I am dedicated to as I continue my studies. Though I started out as an education major back in 2019, I did switch over to studying Business at GWU, where I felt I could reach my highest potential. However, I still work with families each and every day because I do not view it as a job, but a passion. Some of my other hobbies include reading mystery novels, walking through parks with my 2 shih-tzu puppies, or cooking new cuisines out of my cookbooks. Thank you for taking the time to read!
